DATES AND LOCATION ANNOUNCED FOR
2007 INTERNATIONAL MARINA & BOATYARD CONFERENCE

(Washington, D.C.) – Representatives from the Association of Marina Industries (AMI) and the American Boat Builders & Repairers Association (ABBRA) announce the dates and location for the 2007 International Marina & Boatyard Conference (IMBC).
The International Marina & Boatyard Conference will take place in Tampa, Florida January 28 – 31. IMBC will kick off the evening of January 28 with a Welcome Reception to be held on the exhibition floor. Two days of professional development seminars will be hosted adjacent to the show floor allowing participants to return to the exhibition floor during breaks. Luncheons will be held in the exhibition area as well. The IMBC program portion concludes on Wednesday, January 31 beginning with an all-marina industry breakfast followed by an optional field trip.
“We look forward to returning to Florida for another successful Marina and Boatyard conference,” says Brooke Fishel, Operations Manager for AMI. “We have continued to communicate with our participants and exhibitors from conferences past to be sure we provide a conference agenda of relevance and importance in the industry. Fishel continued, “We plan to give our participants not only a chance to learn but to meet and network with other players in the boating industry.” IMBC sessions will feature interactive presentations, participant driven round table discussions and panels including case studies and other informative papers from all over the industry highlighting marinas and boatyards.

The host hotel for the conference is the Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina, located immediately next door to the Tampa Convention Center.
